You may remember Looch & Lauren from their gorgeous San Antonio Engagements. We were eagerly awaiting their gorgeous Seattle wedding all year. Their day was just perfection, in every way. I love this little excerpt from Lauren about their day, she describes everything so perfectly.
From the bride: My husband and I wanted our wedding to be as unique and special as our relationship is. We love Disney but did not want a destination wedding. To compromise, we decided to have a “Hidden Mickey” wedding with little Disney inspired touches throughout the venue and the ceremony. Guests were able to find little Mickey silhouettes on groomsmen bow ties and boutonnieres, on the bridesmaid and bridal bouquets, on the top tier of our wedding cake, and hidden in flowers, and many more “hidden” places. “Hidden Mickey” also didn’t necessarily mean Mickey shaped. Hidden in our decor were Beauty and the Beast themed centerpieces, a Lumier inspired candelabra, and an “UP” mailbox which held our guest cards. Apart from the Disney touches, my favorite design feature of our wedding was the twinkle wall that was our ceremony’s backdrop. I first fell in love with it from pictures our venue showed us, and I knew immediately it had to be a part of our decor. Besides saying “I Do”, the most memorable part of the night was our sparkler send off at the stroke of midnight. It was magical to have all of our favorite family and friends in one spot sending us off to our new adventure as husband and wife.
