Matt and Julie’s wedding was long-awaited for us. These two are such a wonderfully kind, and an overwhelmingly stylish couple, so we knew their wedding would be full of fun, laughter, and some simple, yet gorgeous details.
Their stunning venue was simply perfect in every way. Jardines de San Juan was conveniently located near the hotel their bridal party was staying at, allowing for such a perfectly relaxed morning while getting ready. Julie’s one of a kind BHLDN skirt and corset paired beautifully with her lace coverup/jacket by Lea-Anne Belter. When she told us she was mixing and matching designers to create the perfect dress, we only imagined the perfection that would result, and her dress stole the show the entire day – nobody had ever seen anything like it. Paired with her beautiful Nina shoes and accented with stunning florals by Expressions Floral, the details were perfect.
Carli Rafferty from Attitudes & Images Salon in Hollister did a wonderful job on the entire bridal party’s hair and makeup – their looks stayed perfect the entire 12 hour day! And finally, the most delicious cake provided by I Do Wedding Cakes. The bridesmaids were beautifully dressed by Azazie.
Jardines de San Juan didn’t need much in decor thanks to their beautiful, quaint setting, surrounded with bright colors and the most spectacular succulents and cacti nearby I have ever seen! When Matt requested to get a photo with the “big cacti” I wasn’t sure what we were in for, but upon seeing it, we could totally see why! It was gorgeous and probably the biggest cactus I’ve ever seen!
From the choreographed (unbelievable) dances, to the PARADE through the streets, to the best guests and a beautiful sparkler exit, this wedding was by far a favorite of ours. Coupled with a relaxing timeline thanks to the best wedding planner ever (thank you to Jardines de San Juan!), this wedding was a definite highlight of 2017.
